1. Chinese gaokao
As far as I’m concerned, Chinese gaokao has a bright prospect in our country. It is reasonable that People who have different scores are admitted into different school. It is helpful to develop a number of elites for the society. though many students stress a lot from it and sometimes even feel depressed, it is of great benefit to students ’ future development. Take myself as an example, chinese gaokao makes a great difference in my growing. Due to it, I can be admitted into the jiangnan university and lead a colorful life, learning the knowledge I’m interested in. So I think that Chinese gaokao really has a big impact on the teenagers. There are several reasons accounting for my view. At the beginning, through such institutions, students will be urged to work hard instead of committing themselves to enjoying amusement. Secondly, according to everyone ’s different ability, students can accept different education, which is more suitable to them and more likely to make them succeed. Last but not least, it can take advantage of the limited educational resource and avoid it being wasted unnecessarily. So we should be conscious of the importance of gaokao. After all, Chinese Gaokao play a significant role in children ’s life. If we were to make good use of Chinese Gaokao , we would evaluate ourselves correctly and choose a wonderful college.
2. intake expansion
As far as I’m concerned , I’m firmly in favor of the intake expansion in Chinese universities .This reform aims to transform elite higher education into mass higher education , which makes for offering more elites to the society. I think it’s really reasonable to put the policy into practice. There are several reasons accounting for my view. First of all, more people can receive higher education and learn more knowledge, which can produce countless elites who are expert in one aspect playing a vital role in China’s growth in economic , scientific and developmental spheres.. The next, it is more likely for people who would not be able to get further education to get access to higher education thus changing their fates. Last but not least, it can raise the moral and cultural quality of the nation as a whole. To some extent, the intake expansion corresponds with the development of china and make full use of abundant educational resource . In a word, the intake expansion in Chinese universities can make a great difference in Chinese education and make for cultivation of talents. So we should be in support of the intake expansion in Chinese universities and do our part to become an elite.
3. Punctuality
As far as I’m concerned, most of Chinese always attach much importance to punctuality, who think being late is impolite to others and punctuality is the main character constitute of a good character. Sometimes people even arrive the destination before the fixed time in case that some accidents will cause them being late. They always think a person who is always on time for his appointments shows real consideration for others and a person who is always
late shows selfishness and thoughtlessness. Take my friends Lily as an example, at one time we made an appointment at 9a.m. I was accustomed to arriving the place on time, but when I arrive there, she was waiting me for a long time. She think that unpunctuality is so serious that she will try her best to avoid it, which impressed me a lot . From hers behavior we can know that Chinese people pay much attention to being punctual and feel unpleased about others unpunctuality. I believe that Punctuality is a good habit and we should make efforts to cultivate this good habit. As far as I'm concerned, Mid-autumn Festival is a popular and important lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people. Moon cake is the essential of that day and people are accustomed to enjoying eating moon cakes on that day. There is a legend which claims to explain the origin of eating moon cakes. during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zhang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read ，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which explains why moon cakes are eaten at this time. In china, when mid-autumn festival comes, all families will get together to observe it. They're always sitting in the courtyard enjoying the glorious full moon and eating the delicious moon cakes, which make them feel the warmth of home. I’m very fond of the moon cakes because traditionally moon cakes stand for family reunion and the moon cakes are always very delicious.
5.autonomous learning
Nowadays, students tend to learn autonomously instead of being taught by teachers. Especially when being admitted into the college, we are accustomed to spending lots of time learning by ourselves after class. However, sometimes we don ’t know how to keep the balance between the parts of teacher and student. From my perspective, there are some useful suggestions as follows. First of all, we are supposed to grasp the time in class and make efforts to understand the knowledge taught by teachers, which play a significant role in learning. The second, we should make good use of extra time to enhance knowledge we don ’t have a good command of, avoiding that we have more and more weakness. The third , we can learn new knowledge and review old knowledge on the internet . Last but not least, we can communicate with friends and make progress together. When we are confronted with tough problems, we also can seek teachers for help and solve problems positively and timely. I stand for the conviction that only when we can keep a good balance between the parts of teacher and student will we succeed in learning and embrace a bright future
6. Chinese philosophic thoughts
As one of the four ancient civilizations, China has long history and creates many splendid cultures. As far as I’m concerned, Chinese philosophic thoughts have profound effects on my daily mannerism. What impresses me most is
Confucianism. On one hand, I am taught that how to treat my study with a positive attitude, such as learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous. The philosophy urges me to continually work hard and makes me aware of the weakness in my study methods. I still remember that in my high school,i always can‘t get a high grade. Until once i read such a sentence:“ A man who is able to review past knowledge and acquire new knowledge is qualified to be a teacher.”I changed my ways of studying and finally made it. On the other hand, what i can learn from it is the qualities which people must be equipped with.it tells me as a person i should be equipped with benevolence, righteoeusnss and trustworthiness. These qualities have made a great difference in my growing. In a word , Confucianism can be a light for the future and helps people realize dreams.
7. The pros and cons of micro blogs
Pros:
I’m firmly in favor of the use of micro blogs. First of all, when we use micro blogs, It ’s convenience for us tolook through all kinds of information including news, sports and stars which we are interested in. Secondly, we can communicate with strangers from different places and make more close friends, which can broaden horizons and enhance your knowledge. Last but not least, we can express ourselves ’ ideas and comments without barrier, making our mind more flexible. So micro blogs always brings lots of benefits and plays a significant role in our daily. Cons:
I really disagree with the use of micro blogs. There are several reasons accounting for my view. At the beginning, the micro blogs is always full of fake information and telecom fraud, having bad effects on users’ daily life. The next, the micro blogs often has a number of repeated and useless information, which waste ours valuable time. Last but not least, due to lots of information on the micro blogs, we gradually lose the ability of thinking independently. In a word, micros blogs does harm to the public and the whole society to some extent, thus we should use it with carefulness and avoid being cheated.
8. Cultural differences
As we all know that there are many differences between China and America. At first, I’d like to talk about the marriage customs. In our China the bride and bridegroom would in redbecause we believe the red color represents lucky and the wedding would be host in the bridegroom’s house. In American the bride always in her white wedding gown and their wedding will be host in a church if we patted on a child’s head, it means we like the child. However, Americans treat the action as misbehavior. they think you don’t respect the child so you will make his parents angry. Last but not least, when we meet somebody at the first time, we usually ask his name、age or the payment, while Americans think it’s impolite and we don’t say “thanks” all the times especially saying it to our parents or brother but Americans speak it frequently. As far as I’m concerned, it’s necessary for us to attach much importance to the differences. We should learn and pay more attention to the differences between two countries’ culture and only in this way could American and China be more peaceful!
